SENCR-MIC LogoThe Southeastern North Carolina Regional Microanalytical and Imaging Center is a joint collaboration between Fayetteville State University and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Center was established in 2009 and represents an effort on the part of both universities to build critically needed research infrastructure in southeastern North Carolina. The mission of the Center is to provide students, faculty and staff of FSU, UNCP and surrounding universities with state of the art microanalytical and imaging capabilities in order that they may carry out cutting edge, transformative research at home and not have to travel to large research centers. The Center is also available for use by industry, who are encouraged to involve FSU and UNCP students in their work.
